The visitor centre, located on the main highway as you come into town is the best place to go to find accommodation, road conditions throughout the Kimberley, maps, onward bookings and many more services.

Broome is a unique town in Western Australia. Its architecture, its geographic location, its art, its pearling and its access to the Kimberley are just a few of the many attractions that swell its numbers in the tourist season (April to October) from the 14,000 locals to anything around 50,000. That's one of the reasons we have included a listing of all the holiday accommodation so if you;re planning a trip here you can book easily in advance.

Art in Broome covers virtually all the different sectors that comes under such an all encompassing word. There are many artists here and at Broome 6 we have decided to work closely with six artists, as well as some others from time to time to ensure variety. These artists cover an extensive range of styles in contemporary art, including Indigenous works.
