Eddie Blitner
Eddie is a member of the Marra / Alawa people, who reside in Naiyarindji Country in the Community of Ngukurr on the Roper River in the Northern Territory, Australia. Eddie has been creating art for many years, having won several awards and been exhibited in major galleries across Australia. He paints the Mimi Spirit figures of his people, with beautiful compositions filled with the intricate cross hatching work, well known from the Northern Territory. He is also a talented wood worker making 2 metre high Totem poles and Didgeridoos, which he then decorates with his beautiful art.
